A Spooky Soiree

One of the most fun things to me, is planning to host to a party. It's creative and forces you to be resourceful on a budget...kind of like a budding art director. You get to plan the decor and create themed menus to almost every occasion.
During the month of October, it's not uncommon to attend a halloween party. I was thinking about having one next year and i was inspired by some of these cheap and nifty ideas. I'm particularly impressed on how good the black construction paper window "curtains" look. Love, love love the apothecary jars with "eye of newt" and "sloth nails" embalmed on the sides. Oh, and you can't forget the deep purple and brown floral arrangements that just scream fall.
